Adult Border Collie for Adoption
Here at Haven Creek Farm we occasionally get adult dogs back or have ones we help find homes for that are not from our breedings. We require that you give it a trial run of no less than two weeks and preferably longer. A dog will not adjust to a new situation with less time than that. Hello this is Tucker. He was abandoned in a forest close to us and managed to find his way here with someone thinking he was on of my dogs. He is an Aussie or Aussie mix. He is neutered and approximately 2 -3 years old.
He knows his basic commands like sit, off , down and how to shake and rollover. We have located his past caregiver and he is the one that does not want him. We have also heard he was not the best dog owner, so we are happy he is here with us and safe.
He is house broke and is very chill and lazy in the house. He does get some anxiety when his “person” leaves but is not destructive or displays bad habits but is so happy to see you when you arrive home. His anxiety is getting much better. He is great with little kids, other dogs and animals. He does not have the livestock drive. He mainly just wants you to be in his view and is your shadow. He loves cars, trucks, tractors along with by side rides and will eagerly jump in.
He has been seen by our vet and he is heart worm negative , on preventative and up to date on vaccines and rabies. He is healthy with a beautiful coat and a butt that never stops wiggling,
He will stay with us until the right home comes along but if interested in this amazing boy please get a hold of me.
